hapax theatre proudly presents Lay Down All Dogs by Sarah Danielle Pitman.

It hasn’t rained in years and sisters Haven and Jenna are faced with their father’s death. There’s no will, no family, no crops, and no one to turn to for help.  Is it luck then that brings a stranger to the door of their family mill? One sister thinks so, but the other has misgivings. A wonderfully dark and poignant comedy that explores themes of family and lineage, what is moral and what is legal, and asks if blood is thicker than water even in the midst of a drought.
